The article considers speech etiquette as the most important component of communication, analyzes common speech norms used in communication situations when establishing and maintaining contact with an interlocutor of different cultures. The article shows the differences between the speech etiquette of different nations. It also provides a comparative analysis of the rules of speech behavior in English, Russian and Uzbek society. So, knowledge of national etiquette and national character helps to study the principles of speech etiquette of nations.
: Maqolada nutq odob-axloq qoidalari aloqaning eng muhim tarkibiy qismi sifatida ko'rib chiqiladi, turli madaniyatlarning suhbatdoshi bilan aloqa o'rnatish va qo'llab-quvvatlashda muloqot sharoitida ishlatiladigan umumiy nutq normalari tahlil qilinadi. Maqolada turli xalqlarning nutq odob-axloq qoidalari o'rtasidagi farqlar ko'rsatilgan. Shuningdek, ingliz, rus va o'zbek jamiyatidagi nutqiy xulq-atvor qoidalarining qiyosiy tahlili berilgan.
