Abstract


Annotation: This article explores the concept of love through a linguistic and
cultural lens, focusing on English and Uzbek. The study explores the lexical and
semantic analysis of terms related to love, comparing and contrasting their usage and
meanings in both languages. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the
complex relationship between language, culture and emotions, especially in the context
of love. .
