Abstract

Abstract: This article explores the significance of consistent terminology in
astronomy translations across different languages. It highlights the importance of clear
and accurate communication in the field of astronomy, emphasizing the need for
precise scientific terminology. The article discusses the challenges faced in translating
astronomical terms, including conceptual equivalence, cultural and linguistic
differences, neologisms, metaphors, lack of consistency, and technical accuracy.
